STREAM REPORT
January 9, 2012
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL !!

Not a lot to report
stream wise. Weather and water conditions are typical for mid
January.
The few recent warm
days allowed for some fishing in isolated areas that weren't frozen,
but we had no
reports of any success. Everyone's focus is on tying flies and
preparing for Spring 2012.
We here at the
Hatch are preparing to do our yearly Fly-Fishing shows, so we'll be
on the road half of
January and again in mid February.

boxes and more.
Fly-Tyers will be
glad to see that we have a lot of materials just arriving, and we
also received
our first portion
of our Whiting neck order for 2012.

Info below is per U.S. Army Corps of Engineers:
NOTE: Release times on each Saturday and Sunday
will be from 1am to 1pm each day of release.
*With the pool at 1365 on July 1, storage is
sufficient to support white water recreation and fisheries augmentations
releases through Aug. 21 and Sept. 11 respectively. After those dates
additional storage must be accumulated during the recreation season to make
additional releases possible.
** The September 16th date will only occur if
sufficient stored water is available. This is the last added increment for
the 2011 recreation plan.
